School RN - ALL GRADE LEVELS
Location: Chicago, IL 60638
Compensation rate: $80/h before taxes and benefits!
Position Overview:
The School RN will be responsible for delivering healthcare services, supporting students with chronic conditions, administering medication, and promoting a safe, healthy school setting. This is an in-person, contract position running through the academic year.
Responsibilities:
Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff during the school day
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
Support the care of students with chronic medical conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures)
Communicate with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers as needed
Monitor immunization compliance and health documentation
Contribute to IEP and 504 Plan processes as appropriate
Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
CPR certification (must be current)
Experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with education and clinical teams
