Job description

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Current and active RN license (state eligibility required)
Previous nursing experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
Ability to assess, plan, and provide care for children with acute and chronic health needs
Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed healthcare records in compliance with confidentiality standards
CPR/BLS certification
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of a school schedule and environment
Responsibilities: Deliver direct care to students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and case management for chronic health conditions
Develop and implement individualized health plans for students as needed
Act as a liaison between school personnel, families, and outside healthcare providers
Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives throughout the school community
Maintain accurate health records, manage immunization compliance, and respond to health emergencies
Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies
