Job description

Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license in Tennessee (or compact state eligibility)
Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous nursing experience in a pediatric, school, or community health setting preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with school-aged children
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications, treatments, and first aid in accordance with physician instructions and school policies
Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions
Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed
Educate students and staff on health practices, prevention, and wellness
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student well-being
Participate in development of health-related policies, programs, and emergency response plans
