Job description

Desired qualifications:
Active RN license in the state or eligibility for licensure
Experience providing nursing care in a school, pediatric, or clinical setting preferred
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain a calm presence under pressure
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility in adapting to the needs of a school environment
Key responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and first aid according to health plans and school protocols
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support students' physical and emotional well-being
Educate students and staff on health practices, safety, and disease prevention
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Participate in the development and implementation of individualized health plans
Monitor immunization compliance and contribute to public health initiatives within the school community
