Job description
Embark on your next adventure as a Registered Nurse supporting school-aged students in an engaging academic setting near Nashville, TN. This contract role is suited for compassionate professionals ready to provide vital care and health guidance within a dynamic school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility for reciprocity)
Previous nursing experience required (school-based or pediatric experience preferred)
CPR/BLS certification
Ability to assess and respond quickly to students' health concerns
Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
Organizational skills to manage documentation and care plans
Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Conduct health assessments and screenings for students
Create and maintain accurate health records
Provide emergency care and crisis intervention as needed
Educate students and staff on health practices and preventative care
Coordinate with faculty and parents regarding individual health needs and protocols
