Job description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and active RN license
Experience in a school, pediatric, or public health setting preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
Compassion and patience working with children and adolescents
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations
Responsibilities: Provide daily nursing care, administer medications, and respond to health emergencies
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district policies
Support students with chronic conditions and those requiring individualized care plans
Educate students and staff on health-related topics, hygiene, and disease prevention
Serve as a liaison between school, families, and healthcare providers
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed, offering medical insight and recommendations
