Job description

Key Qualifications:
Active RN licensure in the state of Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
Prior experience in pediatric, school-based, or community nursing strongly preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt care for diverse student populations
Commitment to supporting IEPs and collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare teams
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct care to students for illness, injuries, and chronic health management
Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and physician orders
Monitor student health and maintain accurate documentation
Support health education and wellness initiatives in the school community
Act as a resource for staff and students on health-related matters
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding student health
Respond quickly and professionally in emergency situations
