Job description
Step into a vital role supporting student wellness and academic success! We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic school environment near Saint Charles, MN. In this contract position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with educational professionals and families to promote healthy, safe learning spaces for children and adolescents.
Qualifications
Valid RN license in the state
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment, triage, and emergency response skills
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
Current CPR/BLS certification
Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions
Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization compliance
Maintain up-to-date and accurate health records for all students
Collaborate with school staff to develop health plans and respond to health-related emergencies
Deliver health education to students and staff, promoting positive practices and awareness
Serve as a resource to families on health concerns, referrals, and community resources
Adhere to all state regulations and school policies, ensuring a safe environment
