Qualities and Experience Sought:
Valid RN licensure in the state of Utah (or the ability to obtain prior to start)
Previous nursing experience in a pediatric, school, or community setting strongly preferred
Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations
Compassionate, adaptable, and collaborative approach when working with diverse student populations, families, and educational staff
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Your Role and Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing services, including medication administration, first aid, and chronic condition management to students
Monitor and manage care plans for students with specific health needs
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with privacy laws and school policies
Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and staff-supporting wellness initiatives and providing health education as needed
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create a safe and healthy school environment
Respond promptly to urgent health needs or emergencies that arise during the school day
