School Safety OfficerThe Cheltenham School District announces the following support staff position is available for the school year.Position Title: School Safety OfficerReports To: District Security Manager and Building PrincipalFLSA Status: Non-exemptGrade/Tier: Security/200 DaysJob Summary: Under the direction of the District Security Manager and the Building Principal, works to enhance the safety of the school environment through observation, prevention, and resolution of all possible conflicts as outlined by school district policy.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.Experience with monitoring and/or supervising students in an educational setting.Experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.All applicants: Must complete the on-line application to be considered for this position, which is located under Employment Opportunities at candidates: If hired, you will be required to provide Acts 34, 114, and 151 clearances and other mandatory employment forms.Deadline to apply is open until filled.Cheltenham School District2000 Ashbourne Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027
