Allied Support for Kids is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Houston, Texas.

Job Summary – Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist School Year)
n
n- Part-time position working across two campuses near Sugar Land.
n- Responsible for supervising 1 Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
n- Paid for travel time between schools.
n
nKey Responsibilities:
n- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
n- Assess students for suspected speech or language impairments.
n- Collect and review student educational, developmental, and behavioral data.
n- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with recommendations.
n- Determine student eligibility for speech-language services per state and federal guidelines.
n- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable communication goals.
n- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and present findings.
n- Monitor student progress and revise interventions as needed.
n- Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Texas Education Agency requirements.
n- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and campus staff regarding speech and language development.
n- Support teachers with differentiated instruction and provide classroom accommodation recommendations.
n- Assist families in understanding communication disorders and available services.

nMinimum Qualifications:
n- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
n- Valid Texas SLP license and required educational credentials.
n- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered.
n- Prefer school-based and pediatric/adolescent experience, especially within special education.
n- Strong knowledge of ARD/IEP processes preferred.
