Job description
Make an impact supporting the wellbeing of young students as a School Social Worker. This contract position, located near Dearborn, MI, offers an immediate opportunity to help elementary-aged children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Full-time hours are preferred, but flexible part-time arrangements may be considered for outstanding candidates.

What we're seeking:
Active state license through LARA (LLMSW or LMSW required; LBSW considered with additional qualifications)
School Social Work approval or willingness to obtain clearance from MDE (verification may be required online)
Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-level students
Ability to build rapport with children, staff, and families
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to cultural competency, advocacy, and supporting diverse learners
Your role will involve: Providing direct social, emotional, and behavioral support to elementary school students
Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to promote students' academic and social success
Facilitating group or one-on-one counseling sessions as needed
Supporting crisis intervention, restorative practices, and school-wide wellness initiatives
Maintaining accurate records and timely documentation as required by school and state standards
