Job description
Make a positive impact by supporting students in grades 3-10 as a School Social Worker on a contract basis. Qualifications:
Valid licensure as a School Social Worker
Experience working with students in educational settings preferred
Familiarity with the IEP process and ability to deliver related services
Strong communication and collaboration skills with school teams and parents
Comfortable using online platforms and providing virtual support, as needed
Compassionate, student-centered approach to social work
Role Responsibilities: Deliver IEP-mandated social work services to students in grades 3-10
Conduct individual and small group sessions to address behavioral, emotional, and social needs
Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student goals
Maintain documentation as required by school and state regulations
Monitor student progress and participate in IEP meetings
Consult with teachers and parents to promote student well-being and academic success
