Job description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (or ability to obtain)
Prior experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and outside agencies
Deep commitment to student advocacy, diversity, and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct support and interventions to students on an individual or group basis
Conduct social-emotional assessments and participate in student support teams
Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning
Consult with school staff and families regarding effective strategies for supporting student success
Maintain accurate records and document services provided
Assist in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives as needed
