General Qualifications:
Valid Illinois School Social Worker License
Master's degree or higher in social work with a specialization in school social work from a regionally accredited institution
Successful completion of an Illinois approved program for the preparation of school social workers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent human relations skills
Excellent attention to detail
Terms of Employment: 180-day position with wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board of Education and the Danville Education Association
Reports to: Building Administrator and Special Education Director
