Job description
An exciting opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to make a difference in the lives of middle school students as a School Social Worker in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, full school year contract position focuses on providing essential services to a middle school caseload, supporting student wellbeing and growth.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active 310 certification required
Previous experience as a School Social Worker, preferably at the middle school level
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and support for youth experiencing academic or personal challenges
Strong advocacy and case management skills
Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators
Capable of crisis intervention and providing resources to students and families
Your Responsibilities: Provide direct services to middle school students, including counseling and assessment
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students as needed
Collaborate with educational teams to support student success and address barriers to learning
Conduct family outreach and serve as a liaison to community resources
Lead and participate in intervention and support teams as appropriate
