EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITH PEDIASTAFF ~ Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Schools in Tacoma, WA!
Location: Schools located in the Tacoma, WA 98444 area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Dates: September 2, 2026 – June 23, 2027
Age Groups: Openings available across all age groups, Pre-K–12
Setting: School-Based, On-Site
Pay Rate: $58–$76 per hour
About the Position
PediaStaff is partnering with a school district in the Tacoma, WA 98444 area to hire full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple openings are available across all age groups, from Pre-K through high school.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Washington SLP license
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language services to students with communication needs
Conduct assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress
