Job description
Elevate your speech-language pathology assistant career with a dynamic assignment supporting an elementary school in St. Louis, MO. Key Qualifications:
Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required
Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary students, is strongly preferred
Ability to manage caseloads and adapt to the unique needs of young learners
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Must meet district credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and contractor forms prior to start
Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language services to elementary-aged children under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Support students' communication goals with evidence-based strategies and interventions
Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting individualized treatment plans
Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
Participate in meetings, professional development, and other school-based activities as needed
