Job description
Make an impact supporting young learners as an in-person Speech Language Pathologist for the school year. Work full-time, guiding elementary-aged students to greater communication skills and confidence in a nurturing academic environment. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload and collaborate with a dedicated school community.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid California SLP license (CFY and CCC candidates both considered)
Ability to deliver therapy to elementary-age students in a school setting
Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and fostering growth
Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Providing direct therapy to students, adapting approaches to suit learners' unique needs
Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other therapists
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary support teams
Maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
