Job description
Make an immediate impact working with preschool-aged children in a supportive educational setting near Methuen, MA! This contract opportunity involves serving students across Moody PreK and community sites, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will help shape early language, communication, and social skills. If you hold the SLP-CCC credential and are passionate about early intervention, this part-time position could be the perfect fit.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school-based or early childhood environment
Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of 10-15 students effectively
Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK students in need of speech therapy services
Provide direct speech and language therapy in both the PreK center and designated community sites
Maintain clear, accurate records of student progress and services delivered
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student goals, progress, and strategies for reinforcement at home
