Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with complex learning needs in the North Haven area. This full-time 26/27 SLP maternity leave role spans from August 12th through November 1st and is ideal for speech-language pathologists who have experience working with school-aged children facing significant autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and a range of other disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with complex needs, ASD, and intellectual/developmental disabilities
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to students with complex needs, including those with ASD and multiple disabilities
Conduct assessments and update IEPs as required during the assignment
Document and track student progress, maintaining compliance with all state and district regulations
Collaborate with teachers, aides, specialists, and families to maximize student potential
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain regular communication with staff and caregivers
