Job description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave for the upcoming school year. This full-time role, spanning from August 12 through November 1, focuses on a complex needs population, including students with significant autism spectrum disorder and a range of other disabilities.

Desired Experience and Skills:
Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state certification required)
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Previous school-based SLP experience, particularly with complex needs and significant ASD populations
Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt session materials and strategies to meet diverse needs
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students with complex disabilities and ASD, individually and in groups
Conduct assessments, develop and implement detailed treatment plans, and track student progress
Collaborate regularly with teachers, aides, families, and related service providers
Document services and maintain all required student records in compliance with school and legal standards
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute informed recommendations to support best outcomes
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and advocate for students' communication needs
