Job description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language pathology services throughout the 26/27 academic year. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to support children's communication success and collaborate with passionate educators.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification for the state of Mississippi

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF)

Prior experience working in school settings welcomed

Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals

Deliver direct and consultative therapy services according to district guidelines

Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation required for compliance

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and emotional development

Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrators about student progress and recommended interventions

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight
