Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Pasadena, MD area. Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active or pending state SLP license/certification
Previous experience in a school environment preferred
Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
Document and report on student performance and therapy outcomes
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
Provide direct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
