Job description
Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students across multiple schools for the upcoming academic years. We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, CCC-SLP) for full-time contract positions, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 2027. This in-person opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant school environment located near West Hartford, CT.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid CCC-SLP certification required
Active state licensure for Connecticut or eligibility to obtain
Experience with school-aged children preferred, though motivated new graduates will be considered
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Ability to provide in-person services
Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload spanning grades K-12 across multiple school sites
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students
Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state guidelines
Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
Maintain accurate case notes, data, and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
Engage with colleagues and families professionally and compassionately
