Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Part-Time Salary: $22.00 per hour Full-Time Salary: Commensurate upon experience and according to the River Edge Paraprofessional Salary Guide Start Date: September 1, 2026 Job Goal/Responsibilities/Qualifications: Refer to Job Description Benefits: Per State Guidelines, full-time paraprofessionals hired after 7/1/2020 shall be offered EHP Single Health Care Coverage only. Individuals may choose to purchase coverage for dependants. Full-time individuals may choose remuneration by waiving benefits per NJ State Statute. EOE/AA
PARAPROFESSIONAL SALARY GUIDE
Full-Time Paraprofessionals are eligible for the following
Full-Time Paraprofessionals are entitled to a 30 minute duty free lunch and work a 6.5 hour day.
SICK: One (1) day earned per month of employment (Pro-Rated) banked each year of employment.
PERSONAL: Three (3) days non-accumulative days per year, unused days are converted to sick days.
FAMILY ILLNESS: Three (3) non-accumulative days per year, not banked.
BEREAVEMENT (DIF): Five (5) non-accumulative days per year, not banked.
TENURE: The position of Paraprofessional is not eligible for tenure.
MEDICAL BENEFITS: Per State Guidelines, full-time paraprofessionals hired after 7/1/2020 shall be offered EHP Single Health Care Coverage only. Individuals may choose to purchase coverage for dependants. Full-time individuals may choose remuneration by waiving benefits per NJ State Statute.
Part-Time Paraprofessionals are eligible for the following
Starting salary is $22.00 per hour. Hourly rate for a paraprofessional with five (5)+ years is $23.00 per hour.
