AbbViesGastrointestinal(GI)/Immunology Discovery Research group is looking for a highly motivated andexperienced invivo and in vitropharmacologistto play an integral role inadvancing therapeuticsto treat inflammatory GI disorders.This position offers an exciting opportunity tounderstand thepharmacodynamic effectsof experimental medicineswith GI relevant in vitro and in vivo assays.
The ideal candidate would work within the highly matrixed and collaborativeDiscovery Immunologyteam toguidetest articlescreening and assay development as well asbuild biology packages forearly stageprograms.Experimental focus will be ondeveloping andleveragingin vivo and in vitro systems tohelpunderstand the impact of test articlesinmucosal immunity.The candidate is expected to design, execute,interpretand present innovative research to advance programstowards the clinic.We are seeking a hands-on experimentalist who isproficientwithin vivo and in vitrocell biology research andhasdemonstratedscientificleadership withinternal and externalstake holders/experts.The expectation is that the candidate would dedicatethe majority oftheir time toward
