ScorekeeperUnder the general supervision of the Hockey Manager, the Scorekeeper performs responsible tasks of scorekeeping to support the services and operations of the Hockey Department. This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00. Benefits for Part-Time Roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) Matching. This position will remain open until December 31, 2026.Responsibilities:Effectively operate and understand the use of the Iceplex scoreboardUtilize hockey knowledge to track the play for certain clock sequences.Keep an accurate accounting of statistics for league games on an iPad separate from the scoreboardEffectively multitasking between both the scoreboard controls and the iPad for statisticsOperate both penalty box doors for players entering and exiting the boxCommunicate effectively with the referees. Possess basic hockey knowledgeBe courteous and professionalPerforms all work in compliance with established Iceplex safety standardsQualifications:Previous experience operating a scoreboard during sporting events is preferred but not required.Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly.Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as required. Ability to work evenings—common nights include Sunday–Wednesday/Hours 6:00pm–11:00pmMust be able to maintain a positive self-image for the Iceplex.Regular and reliable attendance.Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with customers, peers, and leaders.Ability to follow and adhere to instructions, policies, and procedures.Ability to communicate with guests of all ages.
