Screen Printer PositionWe are looking to hire a talented screen printer at Getfastshirt.com with an eye for details to oversee our company’s screen-printing process. As a screen printer, you will be responsible for creating the printing design pattern, mixing the correct ink colors, loading the screen onto printer, producing the final printed articles, and cleaning the machine after each batch. You may also be required to dry and fold the final printed articles before they are packaged and sent to customer.Responsibilities include:Receiving work order jobs for screen printingExamining work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantitiesDesigning screen patterns according to customer specificationsSelecting screen size, degreasing agents, and emulsionLoading screens into the printerInstalling and repositioning screen-printing plates and pressure rolesCalibrating printer before the batch is printedRunning prints and performing quality check throughout the printing processTroubleshooting problems as they ariseDrying, folding and packing completed articles after the runQualifications include:High school diplomaPrevious work experience as a screen printerExcellent hand-eye coordinationHigh level of creative and artistic skillsAbility to stand for long periodsAbility to work with ink and chemicals every dayAbility to manually operate large machineryAbility to work alone for long shiftsAbility to work nights if requiredBenefits include:Health insurancePaid vacation
