Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress Upholster to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing upholstery for aircraft interiors. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of precision and attention to detail. Training will be provided.Key Responsibilities:Measure, cut, and sew fabric and leather to create custom upholstery pieces for aircraft seats, headliners, and other interior componentsRepair and replace damaged or worn upholstery on existing aircraft interiorsWork closely with the design team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projectsMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintainedFollow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environmentKeep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and knowledgeCollaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standardsCommunicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectationsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 years of experience in upholstery, preferably in aircraft interiorsProficient in using sewing machines and other upholstery tools and equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to work with precisionAbility to read and interpret design plans and specificationsExcellent time management and organizational skillsTeam player with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of FAA regulations and safety protocols is an assetWorking Conditions:This is a full-time, on-site position at our facility. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
