About This Role
The Seasonal Emergency Department RN provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for a temporary position in a dynamic environment.

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
What You'll Do
Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit‑specific operations.
Organize work to minimize the use of overtime.
Attend mandatory meetings and participate in professional development.
Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree (ADN) required
Experience: Minimum one (1) year recent experience in Emergency Department
Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Nurse License in California
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
