Lifeguard / Learn To Swim InstructorApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Position OverviewPay Rate: $16.00–$17.00 per hour65 positions availablePreferred Dates: May 26-August 31Position Overview: Are you passionate about water safety and teaching kids how to swim? Do you have the energy and skills to create a safe, fun, and educational pool environment? Join our team as a Lifeguard / Learn to Swim Instructor and play a key role in keeping swimmers safe while helping them build confidence in the water this summer. In this role, you will supervise pool areas, enforce safety rules, and lead swim lessons for participants of various ages and skill levels.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor pool areas to ensure swimmer safetyEnforce pool rules and respond to emergencies as neededTeach Learn to Swim lessons using approved curriculumProvide a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environmentServe as a strong role model for children and patronsCommunicate clearly with participants, parents, and staffProvide excellent care and customer service to the publicQualifications and SkillsMinimum Qualifications & Skills:Must be at least 16 years of ageStrong communication skills and energetic personalityPassion for working with children and the communityDependable, confident, and safety-focusedAbility to provide leadership and maintain control in a pool settingReliable, responsible, and serious about pool safetyAdditional Requirements:Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
