Seasonal Quality Inspector- 3rd ShiftGastonia, North CarolinaJob Title: Seasonal Quality Control (QC) SpecialistEmployment Type: Seasonal/TemporaryPay: $18.00 per hourStart Date: Mid-OctoberLocation: Gastonia, NCSchedule: Associates can choose from one of the following rotating schedules:Schedule AWeek 1: Sunday–Wednesday, 6:00 PM–4:00AMWeek 2: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:00 PM–4:00 AMSchedule BWeek 1: Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–4:00 AMWeek 2: Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–4:00 AMJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Seasonal Quality Control (QC) Specialist to support a fast-paced warehouse operation. This position is responsible for helping ensure products and orders meet established quality and accuracy standards. The QC Specialist will inspect products, verify order accuracy, identify discrepancies, and assist with inventory-related activities. Previous inventory and/or quality control experience is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Inspect products and completed orders for quality, condition, and accuracyVerify that correct products and quantities are being picked, packed, and prepared for shipmentIdentify damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming products and report discrepanciesPerform quality checks throughout the order fulfillment processAssist with inventory verification and inventory accuracyResearch and help resolve product or inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate records of quality checks and identified issuesCommunicate quality concerns to warehouse leadershipFollow established quality, inventory, and safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with other warehouse and inventory duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Previous quality control, inventory, warehouse, or order fulfillment experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to identify and communicate discrepanciesBasic math and counting skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently while also working effectively as part of a teamDependable attendance and ability to report to work as scheduledAbility to work the assigned rotating schedule, including weekendsPhysical & Work Environment Requirements:Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shiftAbility to frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouseAbility to perform repetitive inspection and inventory-related tasksMust be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environmentAbility to work in a physically active, fast-paced environmentCore Competencies: Quality Control, Inventory Control, Order Accuracy, Product Inspection, Inventory Verification, Warehouse Operations, Attention to Detail, Problem Solving, Documentation, Safety Awareness, Dependability, Teamwork
