Seasonal Shipping Clerk- w/ RF Scanner- 2nd ShiftGastonia, North CarolinaJob Summary: We are seeking dependable and hardworking Seasonal Shippers to support a fast-paced warehouse operation beginning in mid-October. This position is responsible for preparing completed orders for shipment, using an RF scanner to verify and track products, and assisting with the movement of materials using a pallet jack. Candidates must have previous RF scanner experience and be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare completed orders for shipmentUse an RF scanner to scan, verify, and track products and outgoing ordersVerify orders for accuracy before shipmentStage completed orders in designated shipping areasUse a pallet jack to move products and completed orders as neededAssist with loading, staging, and general shipping activitiesFollow established shipping, quality, productivity, and safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized shipping areaWork efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environmentPerform additional warehouse duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Previous RF scanner experience is requiredPrevious shipping, warehouse, or order fulfillment experience preferredExperience using a pallet jack preferredAbility to accurately follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and order accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDependable attendance and ability to report to work as scheduledAbility to work the assigned rotating schedule, including weekendsPhysical & Work Environment Requirements:Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shiftAbility to perform repetitive reaching, bending, moving, and material-handling activitiesMust be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environmentAbility to work in a physically active, fast-paced environmentCore Competencies: RF Scanner, Shipping, Pallet Jack, Order Fulfillment, Warehouse Operations, Order Verification, Material Handling, Inventory Accuracy, Attention to Detail, Safety Awareness, Dependability, Teamwork
