Job Summary
Shipito is an online business that provides shipping services to clients worldwide. We work hand in hand with carriers such as UPS, USPS, and DHL, and we are in search of a Seasonal Warehouse Operator who can strengthen our team. If business continues to grow past our busy season, we will hire new candidates into permanent positions. Position: Warehouse Operator
Starting Pay rate: $16.90/ HR
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday- 9:30 AM- 6:00 PM Saturday- 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
Inspect packages to ensure contents fall within shipping regulations.
Process outgoing shipments by preparing packages for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
Pulling/ putting away Orders
Photographing contents and processes
Receiving packages and entering info in our admin
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a shipping center or package handling environment is preferred.
Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and package handling is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to retain valuable knowledge or what can and cannot ship.
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
Basic computer skills are required since a large part of our work is done with online programs.
A team player with effective communication skills who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
