nJob Description:

nAt Regions, the Accounting Analyst prepares accurate and timely financial reporting that may include, but not limited to, special requests, producing monthly and quarterly reporting, and adding value through continued process improvement.

nPrimary Responsibilities

nnnAssists in preparation detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management

n

nnContributes to process improvements and makes recommendations on occasion

n

nnResearches and responds to technical accounting inquiries from our business partners

n

nnAnalyzes and resolves problems using prescribed guidelines or policies

n

nnCompletes ad-hoc reporting or other special projects as they arise

n

n nThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

nRequirements

nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field

n

nnOne (1) year in public accounting or industry with reporting, policy, or financial analysis experience

n

n nPreferences

nnnMaster of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Master's degree in Finance

n

nnExperience within a financial services industry

n

nnCertified Public Accountant Licensure (CPA)

n

n nSkills and Competencies

nnnAbility to research, analyze data, and drive appropriate solutions

n

nnAbility to work under direct guidance

n

nnProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

n

nnStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

n

nnStrong work ethic and self-motivation

n

n nThis position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.

nThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

nRegions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

nCompensation Details

nPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

nThe target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
