Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community.$22.00 – $24.00 per hour + $1.75/hour shift differential (based on experience and suitability for the position)Second shift M-F 3-11 PM, must be willing to work overtime, 1 to 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at least 1-2 times a monthCompetitive pay with shift differential and eligibility for overtimeExcellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K with company match, vacation, sick time, and holidaysOpportunity to develop mechanical and manufacturing skills in a supportive team environmentWork at a highly respected, safety-focused organization recognized for quality and innovationEmployee discount programs and a 100% non-smoking campusReading schedules to determine machine changeovers and run timingEnsuring inventory is available for production and starting/stopping machine operationsAligning or fastening machine parts, threading or feeding film, and adjusting temperature, speed, and flow ratesObserving machines during operation, inspecting products, and making machine adjustments as neededRecording production run quantities, performing quality control checks, and consulting with Team Leads on questionable itemsCompleting required machine changeovers, loading/unloading materials, and material handling using carts, pallet jacks, or forkliftsCleaning machines between runs and operating machines that emboss and slit rolls of filmUsing computer equipment for production sheets and QA testing, following hazardous material handling guidelinesCross-training to support other teams and assisting operators as neededHave a high school diploma or GED (required)Bring experience in a manufacturing environment and/or possess strong mechanical aptitude (preferred)Be able to stand, walk, lift up to 65 lbs, and complete a respiratory clearance exam (required)Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and basic computer proficiencyBe willing and able to work second shift, overtime, and 1-2 weekends per month as neededBe comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and following a 100% non-smoking campus policyExperience with 5S and forklift operation is a plus but not requiredBe flexible and eager to learn and cross-train in other departmentsOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
