Second Shift Engineer
Position Overview
Hilton Daytona Beach is seeking a skilled and reliable Second Shift Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift and be responsible for maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the hotel to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems.
Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Handle basic plumbing tasks including repairs and maintenance.
Perform painting and drywall repairs to maintain the appearance and integrity of hotel facilities.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies during the second shift.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical experience in a similar role.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
Basic plumbing skills and experience.
Experience with painting and drywall repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the second shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
