Second Shift Press OperatorVersa-Tags™ has been serving promotional, automotive, and ad specialty distributors since 1970. Starting with the creation of the original, self-protecting Versa-Tag Key Tag, we have built a national reputation for producing quality printed products right here in the USA!Versa-Tags is currently seeking Second Shift Press Operators to join our team!Shift: Monday-Thursday with Fridays off!Hours: 2:00pm – 12:00amAs a Second Shift Press Operator, you will join our high-performing production team operating a variety of printing equipment — such as digital, screen, and die-cut presses — to produce quality promotional and printed products according to job specifications.This role requires a desire to grow professionally through cross-training on multiple processes and the ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.What you will be doing:Follow all safety requirements, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job functions related to working with inks or chemicalsMaintain quality standards for all work performedUse Time Clock and ERP system correctlyMeet or exceed established productivity standardsSet up various presses (including knowledge of registration, guides, materials, and inks)Get approval on all jobs for color, adhesion, registration, imprint, materials, etc.Communicate clearly with Supervisor (daily numbers, scrap, etc.) and report to Supervisor when low on suppliesKeep work area clean and organizedLog job correctly including scrapOperate efficientlyBe a great team member!Other duties as assignedRequirements:Basic Computer KnowledgeAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral formAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divideAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, and communicate information effectivelyOral & Written CommunicationLogical Thinking SkillsProfessionalismAccuracy & ThoroughnessAdaptabilityExcellent AttitudeMechanical AptitudeAbility to work well with others and be a great team member!What does Versa-Tags do to take Care of our people?Comprehensive, low-deductible health insurance, with plans as low as $20/month for an individualAffordable dental and vision plansEmployer-paid life insurance of $100,000 at 60 days employmentEmployer-paid Short Term Disability at 60 days employment12 paid days off your first year, and 18 paid days off at 1 year401k match of up to 4% at 1 year, 100% fully vestedEmployee Assistance Program available to all employees and their household immediatelyDiscounted gym membership for Versa-Tags employees through Anytime FitnessWellness challenges, health incentives, and on-site health screenings throughout the yearMorale events, catered meals, potlucks, contests, and gifts1st & 2nd Shifts available, depending on the positionShift Premium for Second ShiftConsistent scheduling, with NO SUNDAY OR HOLIDAY WORK EVER!Versa-Tags is the company where you can balance great work with great life.
