KLEIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICTStarting Hourly Pay Rate: $16.36 (Based on KISD Compensation Plan)7200 Spring-Cypress Road, Klein, Texas 77379JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Multilingual Compliance Manager SecretaryPay Grade: CP4Duty Days: 195Salary: KISD Current Staff Compensation PlanQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDEffective verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredSpecial Knowledge and SkillsUnderstanding of FERPA regulationsExcellent technology skillsExceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsDuties include but are not limited to the followingAttend all departmental meetings to extend professional capacityCollaborate with registrars on new student registration process to ensure that all students are assessed for possible language program participationAssist with setting up and administering language proficiency tests and other assessments as requiredReview new and returning students' cumulative folders to identify students eligible for a language program or monitoringAssist Compliance Manager with student electronic data and coding in Skyward and ELLevationReconcile information in Skyward and ELLevation with Multilingual folders as requestedEnsure Multilingual folders have the state-required LPAC documents and signaturesRun data audits between Skyward & ELLevation to ensure data entry accuracy between the programs and work with compliance teams to ensure data entry accuracyAssist in the auditing of all campus Multilingual or cumulative foldersAssist with retrieval of Texas records from previous Texas school districtsEstablish rapport, foster collegiality, and promote a positive, caring attitude among district staffShare responsibility for ensuring the confidentiality of student Multilingual foldersLeading from our values including integrity, gratitude, humility and kindnessPerform all other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Compliance Officer of Multilingual ServicesWork ConditionsMaintain emotional control under stress8-Hour Work Day (exclusive of lunch)Assignment to multiple campuses on a rotating schedule; limited in-district travelReports to the Instructional Officer for Multilingual ProgramsA select number of applicants will be invited for an interview.
