This role involves screening individuals and property, monitoring access points, and enforcing security regulations in compliance with federal, state, and airport authority requirements.What you will be doing:Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved security procedures and equipmentControl access to secure and restricted areas of the airportActively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)Verify identification and travel documentsMonitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activityConduct routine patrols of airport terminals, gates, and ramp areasRespond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely mannerEnforce airport security regulations and company policiesProvide customer service while maintaining a high level of vigilanceComplete incident reports and maintain accurate documentationCoordinate with law enforcement and airport authorities as neededPerform other duties as requestedSafety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance:You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
