n nJob Summary:
nThe Security Agent is an entry-level role responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all persons and property within Crested Butte Mountain Resort, including but not limited to: hotels, offices, restaurants, properties, and retail locations. This may include foot patrols, responding to emergencies, completion of detailed reports, and interacting with local law enforcement. Our ideal candidate demonstrates diligence and integrity, while enhancing guest experience.

n nJob Responsibilities:
nnnIdentifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
n
nnAssisting/interacting with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
n
nnProvide a high visibility presence in order to deter criminal activity and violations of resort conduct code
n
nnSubmitting thorough and clear reports
n
nnCooperating with law enforcement in investigations.
n
nnUse radio and telephone communications to call for assistance from Police, Fire, or Emergency Services as the situation dictates
n
nnPerform additional tasks as requested by the Night Manager, Security Supervisor or other Management Team members
n
n nJob Requirements:
nnnEducation – high school diploma or equivalent
n
nnKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
n
nnValid driver’s license and clean driving record required
n
nnPrior Security/Loss Prevention experience preferred, Previous Hotel experience preferred
n
nnAbility to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
n
nnFluent English
n
nnAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
n
nnAbility to work outside in varying and extreme weather conditions
n
nnAbility to stand for extended periods of time
n

nThe expected pay range is $20.00 /hr - $22.48/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
