Job description

Security AssistantGlenbrook Off-Campus's Safety and Security department is seeking a Security Assistant for the school year. The Security Assistant is responsible for student safety, security, and addressing student behavior. Security Assistants proactively engage with students, staff, and visitors to promote a sense of safety and security. Security Assistants provide a proactive and visible presence in the halls, cafeterias, and other campus locations while maintaining a firm yet pleasant demeanor with the student body. The position requires strong and positive communication skills with students, staff, parents, and community members.Education and/or Experience and QualificationsPossesses, at a minimum, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Experience working with adolescents preferred.Experience related to emergency or crisis response preferred.A valid driver's license is required.All interested candidates must submit an application.Glenbrook High School District 225, commonly referred to as The Glenbrooks, offers a public education to approximately 5,100 students in Glenview, Northbrook, and portions of unincorporated Northfield Township.
