Security Assistant SpecialistLockheed Martin's Security Operations Center (LMSOC) is seeking a Security Assistant Specialist to support our consolidated personnel security clearance program. The incumbent will provide advanced security services for domestic and international operations, supporting both internal security professionals and external government agencies. This role requires knowledge of personnel security processes, and a strong ability to navigate complex environment. The selected candidate must exercise independent judgment and decision making and be able to work with minimal supervisory oversight. Day to day tasks may include:Defense Information System for Security (DISS) administrationSecurity Information Management System (SIMS) administrationSecurity Central system administrationAnalyzing clearance data to determine appropriate actionsResearching and resolving escalated clearance ticketsProviding efficient customer service to applicants, employees, security representatives, and managers across the corporationSupporting multiple designated tasks within the other Mission Support Teams as neededMust be able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance prior to startBasic Qualifications:Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAbility to perform proficiently in multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracyAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing prioritiesStrong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are requiredProficient data entry skillsMust be able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance prior to startDesired Skills:DISS experienceNBIS experienceSIMS experienceSecurity Central experiencePay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
