By patrolling assigned areas quickly and efficiently, you help deter unwanted activity, respond promptly to incidents, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment throughout the property. Your vigilance and approachability make a lasting impact on both safety and guest experience.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culturePatrol all exterior areas of the property including garages, parking lots, and surrounding buildings to ensure a safe and secure environmentManage traffic flow in and around the garage, assisting guests and reducing congestionRespond to and investigate incidents involving vehicles, suspicious behavior, and guest safety concernsEscort armored car personnel, trespassed individuals, and assist with in-custody situations to ensure a secure and controlled environmentPerform duties of a Security Officer, including maintaining presence, responding to alarms, and writing detailed incident reportsAssist guests in locating lost vehicles and provide directions or escort to destination when appropriateMaintain company-issued bicycle in safe working condition and remain mobile throughout assigned shiftAct as a liaison with the Taxi Authority and assist in resolving guest transportation concernsServe as fire control center officer or time officer to provide break relief when necessaryEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:1 year of law enforcement, military, EMT, or security experienceAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft TeamsRequirements:This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuanaAt least 21 Years of AgeAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards:Alcohol Awareness CardNevada Gaming RegistrationDriver's License10 Year DMV History ReportConcealed Carry Weapon PermitPhysical Requirements:Occasionally push/pull up to 75lbsOccasionally lift and/or carry up to 75lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistRegularly standing and walkingFrequently ride a bicycle for the duration of an eight-hour shiftMust maintain weight under 300lbs, including uniform, to comply with bicycle manufacturer's published maximum weight limitsAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential Conditions:IndoorOutdoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme HeightsExtreme hot & cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
