Job Summary
We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain technical security controls across infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, and endpoint platforms. The role will support security architecture, baseline security configuration, cloud and SaaS security, security operations, risk management, governance, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain technical security controls across infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, and endpoint platforms.
Evaluate emerging technologies, security capabilities, and vendor solutions.
Provide security consultation and design reviews for new projects and technology initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security requirements into technology deployments.
Develop, maintain, and improve Baseline Security Configurations (BSC) for enterprise technologies.
Partner with technology owners to assess compliance and remediate security gaps.
Support control selection, implementation guidance, exception management, and validation activities.
Track remediation efforts and provide reporting on security and compliance posture.
Support security controls and governance across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and SaaS platforms.
Assess cloud services against security standards and industry best practices.
Participate in cloud security initiatives, security monitoring, and compliance assessments.
Assist with onboarding and securing new cloud and SaaS technologies.
Administer and improve enterprise security tools and platforms.
Develop automation and operational efficiencies to enhance security processes.
Monitor security control effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve security-related technical issues.
Partner with first, second, and third line teams to identify and reduce security risks.
Contribute to security standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
Communicate technical security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining technical security controls across enterprise technology environments.
Experience with cloud security across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Experience securing SaaS and endpoint platforms.
Experience developing and maintaining baseline security configurations and assessing compliance against security standards.
Experience with security tool administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational improvement.
Strong understanding of security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance concepts.
Experience collaborating with technology and engineering teams to integrate security requirements into deployments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, remediation activities, and regulatory compliance.
