Description
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data. At Kissi & Co, we prioritize a proactive and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Design and implement security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and reports to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
Bonus
Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking.
Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to provide security awareness training.
Contribution to open-source security projects.
