Job TitleJob duties include:Independently performs access control for pedestrians and vehicles utilizing standard operating procedures, written orders and regulatory requirements as a guide to access determination for a wide range of unique circumstancesAuthenticates identification through use of electronic means such as the Defense Information System for Security Web application (DISS)Serves as the initial point of contact for the installation's visitors which may include foreign nationals, government agents, elective officials, media and Very Important Persons (VIP)Reports suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, fires, medical emergencies, criminal acts or other hazardsResponsible for performing and resolving a full range of both standard procedural and non-recurring/unusual visitor access assignments
