As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $28.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.Minimum Requirements:Possess EMT certification.Have previous firefighting experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
