As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will help support a secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and responsive customer service. Join Allied Universal, where an agile, reliable, innovative team and a caring culture put people first while acting with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, maintaining access records, and directing vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document activities and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned production areas, offices, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.Support orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at entry points, including checking authorized access for employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial vehicles.Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
